3. SMS Communications

3.1 Types of Messages

When you opt into Clask's SMS service, you consent to receive:

3.2 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your calendar activity. You control the number of reminders you receive based on the events and tasks you create.

3.3 Carrier Disclosure

Message and data rates may apply. Clask is not responsible for any charges from your mobile carrier.

3.4 Opting Out

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by texting STOP to (888) 921-2060. After opting out, you will receive one confirmation message. Opting out will end your use of the Clask service.

3.5 SMS Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your phone number and messaging consent are used solely to provide the Clask service.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Twilio

We use Twilio to send and receive SMS messages. Twilio processes your phone number and message content to deliver messages. Twilio's privacy policy is available at twilio.com/legal/privacy.

4.2 Google

When you connect your Google account, we use Google's APIs to access your Calendar and Tasks data. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

We access your Google data in accordance with Google's API Services User Data Policy. Specifically:

Our service is hosted on Railway. Your data may be processed on their servers in the United States.

  • SMS Message Logs: We retain message logs for up to 90 days for service improvement and troubleshooting
  • Google Data: We do not permanently store your Google Calendar or Tasks data; we access it in real-time when needed

When you delete your account or opt out, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:
